Over his lifetime, Geoff painted hundreds of people living in Leicester. This has created a body of work that brings to life a portrait of Leicester over the last 50 years.

Moreover, the portrait Geoff painted of Leicester was honest, insightful and varied. Interested in all walks of life, he explored the city and got to know may of its communities.

His portrait weaves a face of world-worn homeless men, proud business owners, hardworking factory workers, peaceful Sikh worshippers - and this just scratches the surface.

To celebrate Geoff's life, we invite you to view his artwork over the following pages and to learn more about the lives he painted, most of them forgotten, ignored or unheard.
